The Bible:  In its original manuscripts, the Bible is the inspired and inerrant Word of God, given to us as God's revelation of His Will for our lives.

The Trinity:  God manifests Himself in three Persons, distinct yet one God.

                    God the Father:  He is the infinite, eternal, omniscient, omnipresent, and omnipotent Creator.

                    God the Son, Jesus Christ:  He is the only begotten Son of the Father, conceived by The Holy

                    Spirit, born of a virgin, lived on earth to reveal God to sinful mankind, crucified, died and was 

                    buried; He was resurrected and ascended into Heaven where He now sits at the Right Hand of

                    the Father, and will return to earth as King and will judge all of creation.

                    God the Holy Spirit:  He reveals truth and indwells individual believers at the moment of faith,

                    uniting them into one Family, The Church Universal, and empowering them to live Godly lives.

Salvation:  Salvation is by the Grace of God, apart from works, accessed through the individual believer's faith, accomplished by the atoning Blood of Jesus as the only sacrifice acceptable to God for the remission of our sins, and is therefore achieved only through confession of Jesus Christ as Savior.

Lordship:  God desires that believers, as a response to His loving Grace, submit to the Holy Spirit so He may live His life through us, in all matters of faith, family, business and social life.

The Local Church:  We are commanded to meet together in local assemblies for worship, praise, the sharing of sacraments, instruction in the Word, the facilitation of evangelism and outreach, and the utilization of Spiritual Gifts for the edification of the Church Universal.  We encourage OCBN participants to attend weekly worship services and to be involved in other areas of church life, such as teaching, leadership, music, midweek services, study groups,  financial support and more.
